Chemical Equilibrium
1.0 Introduction
1.0 Introduction
As we all know that, Chemical Reaction is a process in which one or more substances, the reactants, and are converted to one or more different substances, the products.
When a chemical reaction has reached the equilibrium state, the concentration of reactants and products remains constant and there are no visible changes in the system but at molecular level reactants continue to form products. Thus, we can say that Equilibrium is a process which is dynamic in nature.
There are two types of equilibrium:
1. Chemical Equilibrium
2. Ionic Equilibrium
In this chapter, we will focus on the first one i.e., Chemical Equilibrium.
