By action of acid on peroxide: $$\begin{equation} \begin{aligned} N{a_2}{O_2} + {H_2}S{O_4} \to N{a_2}S{O_4} + {H_2}{O_2} \\ Ba{O_2} + {H_2}S{O_4} \to BaS{O_4} + {H_2}{O_2} \\\end{aligned} \end{equation} $$
- By electrolysis of $50\% $ $H_2SO_4$ or $NH_4HSO_4$: $${H_2}S{O_4} \to {H^ + } + HS{O_4}^ - $$
At Anode: $$\begin{equation} \begin{aligned} 2HS{O_4}^ - \to {H_2}{S_2}{O_8} + 2{e^ - } \\ {H_2}{S_2}{O_8} + 2{H_2}O \to 2{H_2}S{O_4} + {H_2}{O_2} \\\end{aligned} \end{equation} $$
At Cathode: $$2{H^ + } + 2{e^ - } \to {H_2} \uparrow $$
- By Catalytic Reduction of 2-alkyl anthraquinone to corresponding quinol and oxidsing the latter with oxygen.
