Characteristics of an ideal fluid are,
1. Incompressible: It means that the density of the liquid is constant and it is independent of the variation in pressure.
2. Non-viscous: It means that the liquid in contact do not exert any tangential force on each other which means there is no friction between the adjacent layers of a liquid.
