Alternating Current
5.0 Power in AC circuit
5.0 Power in AC circuit
In case of a steady current, the rate of doing work is given by, $$P = Vi$$
But in case of an alternating circuit, current and voltage both vary with time and also they differ in time.
So, in an AC circuit we may define three types of power.
1. Instantaneous power
2. Average power
3. Apparent power
