When vehicles go through turning, they travel nearly a circular arc.
There must be some forces which would produced the required centripetal acceleration.
If the vehicles travel in circular path the centripetal force is provided to the vehicle by following three ways,
1. By friction
2. By banking of roads
3. By both friction and banking of road
