For speech signals, frequency range is from 300 $Hz$ to 3100 $Hz$. Thus bandwidth of speech signals is, $(3100\ Hz - 300\ Hz)$.
The audible range of frequencies is from 20 $Hz$ to 20 $kHz$. As the frequency produced by musical instruments are high, therefore bandwidth for music is $\left( {20000 - 20} \right)Hz \approx 20\;kHz$.
For transmission of pictures, video signals require a bandwidth of 4.2 $MHz$.
