Rectifier is a device which converts AC voltage to DC voltage.
Rectifier is based on the fact that, a forward biased $p-n$ junction conducts and a reverse biased $p-n$ junction does not conduct.
Rectifier are of two types,
- Half wave rectifier
- Full wave rectifier
