As we know that unit vector denotes the direction of a vector and the magnitude of the unit vector is unity i.e. $1$.

$ + \widehat i:$ Unit vector in the direction of $+x$ axis
$ - \widehat i:$ Unit vector in the direction of $-x$ axis

$ + \widehat j:$ Unit vector in the direction of $+y$ axis
$ - \widehat j:$ Unit vector in the direction of $-y$ axis

$ + \widehat k:$ Unit vector in the direction of $+z$ axis
$ - \widehat k:$ Unit vector in the direction of $-z$ axis
