6.3 Relation between triangle and parallelogram law of vector addition

Parallelogram law of vector addition is a special case of triangle law of vector addition or vice versa.

As we know,
$$\overrightarrow {OR} = \overrightarrow {PQ} = \overrightarrow B $$
In $\Delta OPQ$,
$$\overrightarrow R = \overrightarrow {OP} + \overrightarrow {PQ} $$$$\overrightarrow R = \overrightarrow A + \overrightarrow B $$
